I just spent three leisurely hours in the kitchen making a Sunday roast: roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower & gravy. I quite like relaxed cooking with Planet Rock on the background.

I found myself wondering if people still do this. Did you make a roasttoday, and if you did, what did you cook?

  • be = been.

Does that make more sense now? I know alot of people put value on food but I've always seen it as fuel, put whatever I can as quickly into me as I can such that I have the energy to complete the jobs in front of me.

Losing 3hrs of work time for the sake of something tasting better is madness to me and I'd not be able to enjoy the process knowing it meant the list of jobs was growing

My comment was more aimed at there being a JohnSmith and a NotJohnSmith in the same thread. There's only one way to fix this - Thunderdome!

We are just covering all the bases.

And, in all honesty, you do have everything accounted for.
