Well, that might be the sign I was waiting for to switch (ha !) my kids to Steam, after all.

I hope they release a Steam Deck 2. The current model isn’t on par with the next Nintendo Switch, and I consider it outdated. However, the Steam library is massive, so it’s still appealing.
