To be fair. Nintendo is currently the only producer of AAA games that I would consider buying.

That being said. The rest of AAA devs should lower the prices of their games accordingly to their endhittification. Nintendo game quality didn't increase, some even decreased (looking at you, pokemon).

Man the company had around $ 6 Billion profits in 2024. Profits, not revenue. The audacity to raise prices of games while they are more rich than ever.

They're consistent, if nothing else.

They got rich because the Switch was something new, cheap, and the games had normalish pricing. Also corona played a big role, GPU market got pwned by mining back then, and many other reasons. I bought a Switch because i could not upgrade my GPU back in 2021 (1st console i bought after 15 years). It was a better value than other consoles and offered something the others had not.
