I know, right? Time I put egg in the microwave, it pops and explodes.

To be fair: they said poached egg; poaching is just boiling the contents of the egg in water. Fill a bowl with some water, crack egg into water, microwave.

It would be sick if you could hard boil them just by microwaving them unopened. Maybe if you poke a hole in for gas to escape... ๐Ÿค”

Also when I am feeling particularly lazy, I just scramble eggs and microwave it. Somehow it ends up even fluffier than making them on the stove in a pan, just gotta make sure to not overcook them.

I microwave scrambled egg for sandwiches daily. The trick is to add a little water. Or, I just rip up two slices of lunch meat and scramble that in, it has enough water in it.

Microwaved egg on the side of a bowl hardens into concrete. Wash immediately or use paper bowls.

What sort of vessel/container do you use for this? Is a tight-fitting lid required?

Huh, interesting. Thanks, I'll have to try this.
