The first email of my day was sent to our head of HR asking what their hiring projections were for the next 6 months-1 year (usually I just get 1-2 months advanced notice) so I can shore up our tech stock

No, my company mostly voted for this so they can relish it.

Ha yea, I thought about doing the same, but didn't want to catch flack for not "projecting trends" or whatever. But whenever I'm asked "Why do you need more money" or "Why are you doubling stock" all my answers center around "Well due to the Trump administration trade policies/tariffs...." and that usually stops the line of questioning dead in its tracks LMAO

They know and they don't want to face the harsh realities of what they voted for lolol

I'm holding that line tight in its holster for when all my IT costs quadruple. Think laptops and docking stations are expensive now? Oh what the future holds. Its worse than they know.
