The fake commentary added after the fact to perfectly fit the episode's narrative is lame. The use of reactions that are clearly to other events than those shown in the shot before is crap. F1 is interesting without all the fakery, and DTS just can't help itself.
I found that for the last few seasons I just had more and more complaints about the fake drama, so this time I just didn't watch it.
The Singapore episode from the last season is worth a watch I think. They handed out camera phones to a group of the drivers to record with themselves over the weekend and there is some nice footage in there. It's the most genuine the series has been in years.
