Ok, measles is at least a scheduled vaccine, but in the US they don't give TB vaccine by default.

That's actually scary as most Americans are unlikely to be vaccinated for it.

TB is also considered one of the deadliest diseases.

The real problem with TB is you need a robust public health service ensuring antibiotic regimens are being followed because it is so goddamn infectious to anyone you're in close contact with. And those regimens are complicated and long with TB (particularly drug resistant TB).

I thought I recalled getting a TB vaccination in school. Looked it up and apparently it was just a test.

They lined up all the students and ran it. Now I'm wondering if that was normal or if they were responding to an outbreak.
