Are people in the US aware that they are now definitely a rogue state, or is this fact covered up by the usual patriotism somehow? (lemmy.world)

About half the country is completely checked out of politics, most of them probably know Trump's president, but uh, good luck getting accurate answers about anything else, only 47% of Americans can even name the 3 branches of government we have, so I'm being generous here.

The remaining half is split between people who are aware and people cheering it on.
