Dr. Michael Parenti on his visit to Cuba, post-revolution. The incredible, massive impact of literacy programs on the Cuban people. Genuinely makes me tear up when Parenti speaks about his own father's experience with illiteracy as a poor Italian-American immigrant, and connected it with the expansion in literacy in Nicaragua and Cuba.
