Very cool. Have fun with it. There are probably some fun hack uses for one of these if you look around. If I recall correctly these things have an actual hard drive inside them, at least the early ones did. That was before large flash memory was an affordable thing.

im not sure, this one i have is 08 so it may have the hard drive

edit: nvm, only the veeery old ipods have the hard drive, so ipod touch uses flash
