I have the G8 curved 1440p and would not recommend it.

Work paid for it, but if I had, I would be really pissed.

Briefly, bad: Subpixel layout is bad for text. Menu system is intrusive, awkward and annoyingly slanted towards being a smart tv. Auto detection for my Displayport pc does not work.

Good: size, curve and media display are all great! Dunno if I can go back to IPS or similar. Good refresh rate and Gsync/freesync built in.
