What did they do when hair wasn't long enough? Holding it awkwardly with both hands at the ears?
I'm now imagining a guy going in to pick up a head, and coming up with nothing but wig.
Given that they reaped more than 10,000 heads from a class known to wear wigs, this is not too unlikely to have actually happened.
