Someone had already built a Bluesky-Mastodon bridge and had to take it down because Mastodon users lost their shit at the thought of other platforms being able to interoperate with them.

Bridgyfed is still running afaik but has some more tight opt-in requirements than originally

It now requires opt-in, which completely defeats the point of a bridge.
