At https://piefed.social/user/settings, turn on "Use markdown editor GUI when writing". I realize now how nerdy that checkbox label is.

It's coming along!

Lately it's not just me though, I write maybe a third of the code and about 4 or 5 others do the rest.

It looks like that setting only enables the GUI under create a post. Its not appearing when hitting reply on a comment.

I didn't notice for a long time because I normally have that setting turned off.
