General question about this sub - does it populate from Reddit’s r/ehbuddyhoser? Exactly how does this work? Asking for a hoser.

AFAIA, we only federate with the other parts of the Fediverse. Walled gardens, like Reddit, FB, Instagram, and all other corporate owned social media, except Blue sky, doesn't federate with the rest of the Fediverse.

Funnily enough Truth Social is a private Mastodon instance.

We just named a lot of communities the same as the popular subreddits to make transition to the Fediverse a bit easier.
