They conducted a study on 2,367 randomly selected twins. Those who had tattoos had nearly four times the risk of skin cancer.

Even with sunblock my tattoos get uncomfortably hot in the sun. So I just wear long sleeves year round. I also have the pale freckled skintype, which is the most susceptible to skin cancer
