I was feeling particularly pessimistic last night.
In this day and age, I don't blame you.
At the same time, I don't feel there's any other viable long term solution than proportional representation. Therefore, we must act to get it done.
Agreed. What can I do other than donate above?
Don't let your pessimism cause you to be complacent! That's exactly what the anti-PR team wants. I know it's hard, but imagine that you are doing it for someone you care about -- because government, and lack of good governance, affects all of us.
