This is one i don't get. Everyone benefits from weather forecasting, even trump.

I read yesterday they're already talking with private companies to replace it. So they know it's important, but it's about the grift and extracting money for themselves and their friends.

they're selling off the real estate after they fired all the workers and shutdown offices, privatizing everything and anything they can.

The ideology that is currently in power is one where government is inherently bad, always. It doesn't matter that people benefit, that is literally not part of the equation.
