The deal gives Ukraine "military equipment and the right to fight on, and originally, the right to fight," Trump said.

The finalized agreement, dated Feb. 24, reportedly offers Kyiv no security guarantees in exchange for 50% of revenues from the "future monetization" of Ukraine's state-owned mineral resources.

If there's no security guarantees, then this war will just drag on and yea hopefully either someone sensible will cancel this or Ukraine does something clever that results in state not owning any rare earths/metals/minerals directly, ensuring this agreement becomes worthless.

Why would you take any deal if someone 'sensible' can cancel it later?
