Rules

2. Explain bad diplomacy takes
If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong elsewhere.
3. Content must be relevant
Posts must be about international diplomacy. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or talk about military tactics or equipment. There are other places for that.
4. No racism / hatespeech
No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.
5. No politics
We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Please leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.
6. No seriousposting
We don't want your fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.
7. No classified material
Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.
8. Source artwork
If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.
9. No low-effort posts
No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title.
10. Don't get us banned
No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.
11. No misinformation
NonCredibleDiplomacy exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

He lies to his own country but now he's lying on the world stage. Does he think we buy it? He's lying about events we all saw unfolding ourselves! We're not stupid, we don't suckle on the Fox teat like his ignorant cult followers. It's bizarre and extraordinary that this is happening. This is no way to run a country, this is no way to interact with the rest of the world. You chose this demented crook to represent you? WTF

Even the "refusing to have elections" isn't true, he can't do that in a wartime according to their own constitution.
Churchill didn't have elections during WW2 and rightfully so.

Talking out my bum mostly. Cheetoh in Chief (Coc gobbler for short) says we're joining the war, then says we can't have 2026/28 election/s because of it.
He couldn't care less whether we buy it or not. He thinks he can manifest his preferred reality by repeating the Big Lie, just like Hitler. And what's worse, he has yet to be proven wrong.
It doesn't matter anymore. We've already seen that no one significant is going to call him out on it. some of the EU leaders should stand up and start calling out EVERY single bit of bullshit and misinformation Trump says and people in the EU should be vigilant against their bullshit spilling over to here.
I fucking wish. And the media doesn't call him out, instead try to interpret the bullshit, try to make something coherent out of the rambling nonsense. I listen to a BBC news podcast and you can hear the incredulity in their voices as they try to sugar coat and give the benefit of the doubt to this lunatic's ravings. They clearly know but it's like they see calling out his lies for what they are as some kind of line they dare not cross. Gotta appear balanced even if one side of that equation is disconnected from reality. It's beyond infuriating.
It's almost like they feel they have to take a "balanced" view as to not upset the right wingers in their own country. Sorry, but some things you just cannot condone as a media company and you should take a stance on it. How can you not condemn him saying that Ukraine started this shit, like wtf?
Also, some of the bullshit is already leaking over unfortunately... The party here in NL announced today that they're not renewing any foreign aid packages because of the US being such a good example to follow... They're more insignificant amounts but still, stopping aid for women's right, gender equality, education, sport , culture and arts and most importantly, for sustainable climate solutions? Such bullshit. And it's not like this money will then go to the citizens here or something, they're just cutting it to save money basically.
