At the Munich Security Conference, the "shared values" so frequently invoked by Europeans were called into question by US Vice President JD Vance. So do the US and Europe still speak the same language?

As a Pole I see some similarities between Poland and South Korea but we also have similar weaknesses. Poland and SK have one of the lowest fertility rates in the world. Nothing wrong with that choice but I’d argue it’s not a choice. People just stopped trying due to being stuck in capitalist hellholes. We’re also very averse to immigration (and apparently nonchalant about our retirement). With that in mind, we’re in no position to lead anything. And that’s just one of many reasons why.
