Try Oxygen Not Included, you'll have to think of a material, its thermal conductivity and melting point
I love ONI and have put several hundred hours into it, but Factorio certainly spoiled me in terms of game engine performance. My word ONI runs like crap comparatively. ๐
Thermal/fluid dynamics and the differential equations that govern them are a bitch to compute even when working with toy models. Those really cool somewhat accurate simulations of fluid movement in ONI come at a cost.
Oh I know, it's just funny to me to see the contrast in performance between them.
