Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

Bewildering mess is accurate. My daughter has a 4a. They took her perfectly good battery and toasted it, now it fully drains in about 20 minutes. The solution? They'll pay for a repair... 150 miles from my house, or send me $50... Through Payoneer??? Or give me $100 credit to the Google store where the cheapest phone is $500. Oh or I can send it in to Google where it will take a full month at least to get the phone back to her. The new batteries are all on backorder so even if I replace it myself she has to put up with this issue for an indeterminate amount of time.

Even better, I made an appointment and the 200 mile drive to uBreakiFix to have my son's battery replaced, and only when I got there did they tell me not only are the batteries on back order, so are the screens because according to them, they have to be replaced every time too.

Thanks for fucking telling me before I spent an entire day on that trip...

When I took my pixel 8 pro to ubreakifix they told me they don't fix them there at all... They just send it to Google. Why would I ever go there if I could just send it to Google myself? It's such a stupid place to have as an official warranty provider
