World leaders, senior ministers and key figures in climate diplomacy have, one by one, reaffirmed their commitment to the Paris agreement this week, in response to the order by Donald Trump to withdraw the US from the pact.

As an American I hope there are consequences to America due to trump's flaunting of global environmental pacts. But that is driven by my feeble belief that our voting populace can connect cause and effect, which they've shown they cannot. So... I don't know who to fight anymore. I'm just sad and I'm sorry to the world.
