The first dog in Minnesota?! What did they do before that? Everyone out walking their porcupines / large lizards / capybara in the park? What? How did they not import dogs from the next state?!
Moose, elk, and hockey players. Also a few stray Wisconsinites.
Yeah, Minnesota almost ran out of cheese, Vikings fans, and beer!
Ironically… Minnesota produced more cheese (and dairy products in general. Land O Lakes is based here.) and Wisconsin has more lakes.
Hold up. They only have more lakes because they count ponds. A lake in Minnesota is "a body of water greater than 10 acres". Wisconsin does not have a standard.

To be fair, depending on her physical stature, the woman behind the quote is a big Meaney!
That's only because Wisconsin defines "lake" differently.
And some Canadians that were reading their compass wrong.
