Mod management is orders of magnitude more complex in comparison to managing some save files.
That's kind of why there is no one mod manager that deals with every game ever.
Definitely lost my co-op Elden Ring save. My normal game play was saved of course.
I just cloned the existing rule for Elden Ring as a custom rule, but changed the extension to match the co-op save.
