The format of these vids is basically that a famous drummer gets to hear a drum-less version of a well known song that they haven't heard before, and they get to add a drum track.

In this video, Mike Portnoy (progmetal drummer, for those who don't know) plays Taylor Swifts (pop artist, for those who don't know) "shake it off", and it's awesome.

MP is one of my favorite drummers, and it's cool to see him play stuff he normally doesn't play. He has a few other videos like that with Drumeo too.

This video made my day.

Yeah, I agree. It's like watching a hilights reel before you watch the actual thing. With Drumeo I usually fast forward over anything greyscale.
