nah, it looks really bad to arrest a jew in auschwitz. this would give him martyr level sympathies from some ppl. it's wise to do it another way
No one said he would have to be arrested in there. He could be taken in at the airport on his way back – it's a long distance. The good practice is that you allow the criminal to attend a family funeral and then take him back in.
But the funny thing is that this is just part of political tensions between the president and the government in Poland. Because so far Netanjahu did not even express his will to come to the ceremonies. No diplomatic notes were sent, no requests from the Israeli government. It's just a shitstorm for shitstorm's sake. And it plays completely in favor of not just Bibi but Putin as well.
