The Vegas Loop: Elon Musk’s Boring Company is constructing a planned 68-mile tunnel system beneath Las Vegas where drivers will ferry passengers around the urban core in Teslas.
Less Regulation: Despite its size, the project, because it’s privately funded, has not gone through the vetting typical of public transit systems, including lengthy governmental studies.
Musk’s Worldview: Musk says regulation often stymies innovation, a view that now has added significance given his new role advising President-elect Donald Trump on government efficiency.

You really can’t dig an industrial tunnel without a fuck ton of engineers; not that he would personally ever go there aside from opening it, no?

I beleive (won’t read the article) the governmental oversight will really lack from where the route will be laid, but it really shouldn’t be that hard to figure out from where to ppl wanna go, should it?

It's not hard to figure out where people want to go, but is that route full of stable sediment layers/affecting the groundwater movement/at risk of erosion from groundwater movement/at risk of compaction/etc.

There's a ton going on into environmental surveys for construction
