How do the cops phrase it when they talk about black people they randomly accidentally murder?

"Authorities say the suspect, one Brian Thompson, was not currently under indictments for murder or fraud, and it is not known when or if he stopped beating his wife or engaged in gangbanging and drug distribution. They stress that the suspect is not currently known to be a pedophile, and that he is innocent untill proven guilty."
