It's exactly what "just executing orders" means. So no, I do not care about people who are covering themselves witch such stupid phrase.
It's no different than killing in the name of some god.

It’s worse. At least someone the person killing for god believes it to be good. The soldier is knowingly committing evil for money.
I mean, the military service is mandatory right? Yeah you get paid, but you don't really have the option to not do it...
Plenty of people refuse compulsory service. You just have to be willing to do the time.
