Good morning fellow sobernauts, IWNDWYT 😁!

We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stop drinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!

tyvm been on zoom all wknd AA meetings, irl is tues thurs and sun but I found a 247 new zealand based meeting, was just about to share on step 2 and my phone died. it's not going to survive this australian summer. but someone said god, group of drunks and I like that, my higher power is the group so I finally might be able to say god in the serenity prayer cause that's what I mean haha. but I've picked up so much just hearing my own story over and over im full send into the program but still atheist as fuck

Remember with all the religions there are thousands of gods. Pick the god that works for you! God of Australian summer sounds like a winner right now. 😁

yeah I kinda worship the sun, but nah it's yucky dry heat, real stoked I'm not quite as hungover now I wanna faceplant in some snow. me and a buddy from AA are taking the dogs to the lake he has a german shepard too
