Seriously, it's just good ol geopolitics
It's almost like the angriest loudest people on the internet haven't followed and studied decades of geopolitical history
Have you considered that some people don't accept that genocide is a necessary fact of "geopolitics?"
There's a word for people that do.
There's a word for people who refuse to accept reality as well.
Unfortunately for you they're called "voters". So do you want democracy or authoritarianism?

Acknowledging reality is important if you want to deal with it. However half the fediverse thinks they hold the majority opinion, despite evidence to the contrary.
Unfortunately snark and smug superiority don't win elections.
