Whot, its not that bad. There are lots of instances that have been running for years with almost perfect uptime
Then I don't know. I thought that because matrix is always buggy. Also, when I had an account at matrix.org I saw some weird stuff there (probably illegal stuff).
find me a platform that has no illegal content
I mean I've never seen illegal content so far, which I guess is my main concern. I know a bit back lemmy had a problem which led to my old instance just purging all images from a certain time frame / instance and temporarily defederating the affected instance until they removed it from their side. I am also sure that other mainstream platforms I've been on have/had problems but I never just stumbled on it and had to see it.
