It's funny how we can't afford to shore up the SS and Medicare trust funds though.
We can absolutely afford to shore up the SS and Medicare trust funds. We just don't. American oligarchs just prefer that workers are dependent on jobs until they fall over and die. Just raise the cap, and it's fixed.
It's rockets that woukd be decommissioned anyways or so I have understood.
For your other argument, it could be said about any spending.
