is this a "Let A Gargoyle Sit On Your Face" where there's an actual explanation or is it just a shirt that says that

gargoyle is the brand of sunglasses that Terminator made famous. they had a shirt with that slogan. if you know context it makes sense, but out of context the shirt is silly

Based on the date the movie was made and the fact that they're in a recording studio I think it's a reference to Virgin Records
