My wife and I both experienced an age where suddenly we were told to forget about those dreams and be realistic. It was very strange. We both remarked later on how odd it was that we were encouraged to dream one year and then told to bend over and take it the next.
“Dream when it doesn’t bother me and stop complaining about how shitty I am now you’re old enough to fight back.”
