Don't buy taxidermy period. It's weird

I kind of agree, but it's the sort of thing that well meaning people gift me. So I've got some. To be honest, I've become attached to some of them.

And I once had a landlord try to impress me with his collection of taxidermied fish. He made them himself! Not how I would have tried to impress a college student if I were in his place, but OK.

I'm fascinated thinking about people that would gift taxidermy. They must be interesting 🙂

I worked in a taxidermy museum. I've cleaned 1 too many carpet beetles up thx.
