Edit: i just got mine unpacked and altho it technically has a little bin+stainless steel scoop, ill probably use this random large rubbermaid/tupperware type container I found that happens to be the same volume as the required amount of water to make a batch so I can double dip :) it seems a little "gentile" to use in the freezer so I'll reserve it for making more batches which I will subsequenyly add to the store in the rubbermaid

What kind of container do you store all the output in? What do you use seperate from that as the actual daily driver container that you keep in your fridge freezer part

Been looking at ice boxes and buckets but they all seem to be for parties or like kept in the room which is not what i want

I transfer several "full" batches of ice into a zippered gallon bag and store the ice in my freezer.

(a) The holding area for made ice is not kept cold.

(b) The ice maker remains active.

(c) The ice is not fully frozen.

This allows me to have more ice than I need at a given time, and lets my ice deep freeze so it is more effective.

I use disposable store brand gallon storage bags (not freezer bags), however i had a silicone ice storage bag at some point that i liked better because i could whack it on things and it didn't burst but the zip closure on it was an ass so i have up on it.

Yeah ziplocs is another option tho I think I'll want to use an actual tupperware type larger storage container for the output. I think I found one but I just realized that i have to choose if i want to use it to measure and be filled with/+pour the amount of water needed by the machine or as the output storage vessel.

I might have to try to find and buy another copy of it
