Neither do I. The pumpkin-fucking trans women meme makes me feel fetishized and reduced to a sexuality. What's worse is 9/10 times I see one of these memes shared, it's being shared by a trans woman.

Yeah, as Porkchop said, it's basically a running gag in my mind. I have my reasons as to why I like this specific running gag (1. I deeply like to express my repressed sexuality, and 2. I long for, and need playfulness and unseriousness related to that sexuality). So, the the shameless stupidity of "October == pumpkin, stick my gock in October haha funny", feels freeing to me. So new iterations of the joke, as it evolves and the expressed opinions in it get more intricate, always catch my attention.

I don't want to make people feel uncomfortable though, and I understand that when the outside world treats you like an object in relation to something, it can become really fucking painful.

I'm probably gonna reduce the related memes, and increase my bar for posting them, since the intertextuality of the meme is kinda hurtful for people.

I'm not suggesting that it's hurtful to trans women, exactly...

It's like if someone liked a meme about Bigfoot while also being extremely vocal about disliking the myth of Bigfoot. I've hooked up with trans women, I know that there's no Bigfoot.

Yeah, the "hurtful" part was about apotheotic's comment. On your "I don't know why they like it", I am just answering stereotypically, "trans women aren't a monolith", and we both know the next steps of that conversion. Everyone is just weird and different.
