Be aware that it is broken vibe coded slop.

This is so sad, they doesn't even try to hide it

Epic Games has a new launcher available to download now, which was redesigned with AI. The company says it "vibe coded" the new launcher, and claims it's "way faster" than the current version, as well as 46% faster to start up compared to Steam. Epic Games has set up a landing page where you can download the new launcher, as well as browse its new enhancements.

"Programming is hard. So, instead of doing that, we vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher that’s way faster and more responsive than the current one, and has a new look," wrote Epic Games in a blog post discussing the new launcher.

They are barely trying. It's nearly an insult actually. "This is all you slugs deserve".

The people fund bad companies

The people vote for bad politicians

The people get no respect... who is to blame?

Decades and decades of defunding education while damaging the people's ability to think critically with a neverending flood of brain-rot?

[–] dusk@piefed.social 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Due to the political parties that the people kept/keep voting in...

Accurate analogy/train of thought... not.

We are all to blame. But it's just the way the pendulum is swinging now.
