Ive definitely woken up from dreams where i was getting ready for bed, and had to walk myself through my day back to bed. Like, i had a dream of an entire day

That's called a false awakening. I've had those, and they go lucid when I realize I wasn't in my own bathroom. Maybe yours was of the entire day?
