Blue and Gold stripes...
Is that scheme based on The Dress?
Absolutely not, I don't even know what that is. It's based on my fursona's colors, and also because they're my favorite colors.
I actually meant are your fursona's stripes based on The Dress, but okay ^^
The dress is a 2015 viral Internet phenomena that was pretty much global.
It's a single picture of a dress that is either perceived as blue and black, or white and gold.
It was a matter of intense debate because almost everyone tends to see it exclusively one way or the other, and can't understand how anyone else perceives it differently.
So I thought a colour scheme based on The Dress would actually be pretty awesome, almost like "optical illusion camouflage"

Oh, I didn't know about it, it does appear to be blue with dark gold stripe on the inside while on the outside it looks sort of white-ish. That's an interesting phenomena.
Colors are relative. Some colors like brown don’t even exist on their own.
Uh ? But I can make and see brown. What do you mean by that ?
It’s a dark orange, but it needs the right context to not look orange.

I'm not sure that I understand how different brown is from others colors 🤔
I agree that it needs the right context, but that seems to be the case for light brown, and other shade of blue, grey, green, yellow...need rhe right context to be seen as what they're calle.
Don't make me feel so old...
But you are
(╥﹏╥)
