You're 100% correct.
But I'm gonna keep calling it BIOS anyway.
It does seem to serve the same purpose, an “OS” under the OS so 🤷
I don't think the OS is the same in BIOS. It is "Basic Input Output System"
Seems like it should be BI/OS, then, haha.
