But isn't meat also mostly made of water? How far down do we have to go? Carbon? Neutrons? Quarks!?

Great question! It depends on how you classify depth levels. Some things are heavy on the "mostly water" (brain, heart), whike others aren't even mostly water--like bones. If you take the average of all the garbage in you, then dive deeper, mathematically you would have to go past the point where H2O = water, so atoms, i guess?
