I mean.
Why not go full technology?
If daylight savings is to move the hours us humans operate in the world to make better use of the sun... Why not have all phones and devices move the tiny amount each day? Like have them adjust at 2am by 1 minute every few days...
Nobody would even notice. We would live in the same sun hours space forever
Probably because lots of programs expect a day to be 24 hours not 24.001 hours. Maybe we can change the definition of a second to be slightly longer, so that a day is exactly 24 hours and a year is exactly 365 days, and all the programs can stay the same
