Doesn't sound like he broke any laws
Planning mass murder is indeed illegal.
Planning without real intent isn't really against the law, and this sounds like another case where undercover informants talked them into it and helped provide plans\materials, etc
Idk what you’re reading. Because everything in this article is that someone else who he was talking to online tipped the FBI off, so they started just following his posts talking about it.
They didn’t interact with him until the arrest.
I think the suggestion is that this someone else was a FBI plant.
Which would be a crazy leap from the available information.
I guess I’m an FBI plant. I’ve made a few online tips to them linking to Reddit profiles that have made similar threats.
It’s because this has happened numerous times before.
You know what’s happened an order of magnitude more times before?
Actual mass shootings.
Unless there’s another source that actually has some information about him being baited into it, at this point you idiots are just sympathizing with a literal terrorist.
