Are you kidding? I'll take that over 40C summers any day. Get a coat for yourself and studded tires for your bike. Done and done.

My point was we shouldn't be where we are as a society where transportation is a requirement for literally everything. Like all other mammals we should bunker down during bad weather.

Alright, I get ya but transportation is kind of intrinsic and foundational to civilization and society. That's one of the more important reasons why we're different from other mammals, yeah? I think the difference for this c/ in particular is that we need to adopt healthier and more sustainable methods of transport.

And I wouldn't even consider that photo "bad weather". It's just "weather". Like the people aren't even obscured by the snowbanks yet. But that viewpoint really depends on where you're from and what you're used to. Before the plows get to them, our bikepaths around here will have XC ski tracks.
