Why create new news community? I'm tired of getting banned by crazy lemmy moderators under made up reasons for posting news articles (likely reddit subversive operation).
Also most of news communities are empty - this one will be full of content.
So i'm now creating my own community. everyone welcome, let's tear reddit down together.

Ah New America, yeah that has a ring to it. Also "The moon is ours" is so funny. To quote Wikipedia:

The United Nations-sponsored 1967 Outer Space Treaty established all of outer space as an international commons by describing it as the "province of all mankind" and forbidding any nation from claiming territorial sovereignty.

outer space is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means;

And the US signed this treaty and acknowledges it (excluding Trump who probably hasn't heard of it). Ok fuck I need to stop digging into this. So apparently there's also the Moon Treaty, and to quote it:

In 2020 the Artemis Accords were signed [...]. At the time of the signing of the accords U.S. President Donald Trump additionally released an executive order called "Encouraging International Support for the Recovery and Use of Space Resources." The order emphasizes that "the United States does not view outer space as a 'global commons" and calls the Moon Agreement "a failed attempt at constraining free enterprise."
