Aaaaah! I was just getting past that one, starting to convince myself of my adaptability to work around anything I forget to bring. How easily that one is rekindled. That's a biggie.

Every time I discover I didn't, I add another check.

I don't know if "Did you lock the door?" is beginner anxiety. Seems more a delicacy of hyper vigilance anxiety from PTSD; more higher tier stuff. Like starting on a sip of the strong stuff.
